The Final Girls (2015) - Blood Clot American Summer

We have hit the most ambitious of summer camp slashers; an excursion into grief, friendship, tropes, and fate, this was written by someone processing their feelings of loosing a parent known for being a horror icon. It follows Max, the daughter of a scream queen, who find herself literally IN her mothers most famous movie, Camp Bloodbath. With her friends, and their knowledge of the film, they must decide whether to ensure their own survival or somehow defy the script to also save the campers fated to die, including her mothers character.
